In-person and Online Sessions

I am offering in-person sessions at my office located in Issaquah and online session for clients located anywhere in Washington.

My ideal clients are well motivated and believe that investing in their mental health is invaluable.

My clients recognize the importance of professional support, choose to actively apply skills learned in therapy in their daily lives, and are dedicated to their well-being.

By choosing to work with me, you are taking a significant step towards meaningful and lasting change with expert guidance and personalized care.

In order to develop the meaningful and effective change you are deserving of and looking for, therapy sessions are to be held on a weekly basis. I do not offer bi-weekly or monthly sessions.

My Services

1

Individual Therapy

Are you experiencing anxiety, constantly worrying, overwhelming panic, or feeling socially anxious? Or, maybe you are finding it difficult to control your emotional responses. I get it. These symptoms can be quite frightening, leaving you feeling anxious, hopeless, lonely, and helpless.

Or, maybe you are a neurodivergent thinker who struggles with ADHD, and feels scattered all the time and is ready to take committed, effective action to change.

In individual therapy sessions with my well-motivated clients, we'll collaborate to develop a treatment plan centered on your needs. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills. Additionally, I’m trained in and proud to offer Sandtray Therapy, and expressive form of therapy.

2

OCD

OCD makes you feel constantly plagued by intrusive, distressing thoughts, and doubting. In turn, you spend countless hours engaging in compulsions, desperately trying to get rid of this doubt. You may constantly wash and sanitize your hands and belongings, meticulously arrange objects in a particular manner, repeat phrases, ruminate on thoughts, search the internet and seek constant reassurance from others. As another attempt to try to stop the anxiety and fear, you end up avoiding doing things you once enjoyed. You don't feel calm anymore.

I am trained in and provide Exposure-Response Prevention (ERP), an evidence -based therapy to treat OCD.

OCD is a highly treatable disorder and an integral part of the treatment for OCD requires that you take an active role in practicing skills outside of sessions. We will work together to develop a plan to help you decrease OCD symptoms so they don't take the center stage in your daily life anymore.

Child and Adolescent Therapy

*Please note that I am accepting child and adolescent clients on a case-by-case basis. Please contact me to learn more.

As a rigorously trained Registered Play Therapist, I am trained in translating the language children use, play. In Play Therapy, I offer a carefully selected variety of toys to aid children communicating and expressing what they need during our session.

I also work with parents to help them develop effective skills to support their child at home and deepen their connection.

Parents and children who work with me, often experience an improved sense of emotional satisfaction and connection in their relationships, decrease problem behaviors, and learn to better identify their emotional, behavioral, and sensory needs.

With my work with adolescents, I often make us of expressive modalities to aid in exploring their deepest concerns and insecurities.

*I also work with well-motivated children, adolescents, and families with OCD utilizing ERP who are willing to actively engage in treatment in and outside of therapy sessions to see lasting change.
